About Elise Tanen
I am currently a Senior Advertising major at the University of South Carolina with a concentration in Sports Media and a minor in Psychology. I am seeking Spring internships for college credit in advertising, digital marketing, or sports media. I am also looking for a full-time position following my graduation in May. I am driven and passionate about the projects I work on and complete in school. I am organized and reliable regarding my work and school work. I would love to attain my master's in Copywriting or Strategy from a university closer to home.
In my sophomore year, my Journalism 317 class got to work with Owen's Mixers marketing team to present our ideas to the founders. Through this course and many others, I have gained experience working with video and audio editing, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, CameraRaw, iMovie, and CapCut. In May of 2022, I attended a Maymester at the Creative Circus in Atlanta, Georgia. This semester, my group in Journalism 517 was privileged to present to Summer's Eve Brand Managers. We were thrilled to show them our strategy to increase brand sentiment and help them gain traction through new channels.
